HR Safety Culture & Engagement Intern

Gain an understanding of manufacturing operations, workforce dynamics, company culture, and the fundamentals of safety culture. Participants will learn how employee mindset and behavior contribute to creating a safe and proactive working environment.

Learn and apply employee listening techniques such as observations, interviews, surveys, and focus group discussions (FGDs) to identify key drivers, barriers, and employee perceptions related to safety culture.

Develop communication and engagement skills by supporting safety awareness initiatives, creating communication materials, and implementing campaigns that reinforce safety messages across the site.

Understand the role of leaders in shaping safety culture through communication, coaching, feedback, and role-modeling behaviors. Participants will observe leadership practices and identify opportunities to strengthen safety ownership within teams.

Support the design and execution of engagement initiatives that encourage employee participation, recognition, and ownership in promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.

Lead or support a culture improvement project focused on enhancing safety awareness, communication effectiveness, or employee engagement. Participants will analyze findings, implement improvement actions, and present outcomes to stakeholders.
