IT Architecture Intern

Understand the basics of Enterprise Architecture: the four domains (business, application, data, infrastructure), current-state vs. target-state, and an introduction to TOGAF and IT governance frameworks. Learners describe a fictional company's IT landscape in narrative form, mapped to the four domains.

Learn business architecture elements (capabilities, value streams, roles) and model business processes using BPMN 2.0 — events, tasks, gateways, pools, and lanes. Learners produce complete BPMN diagrams for 2–3 core business processes.

Document the application landscape (systems, interfaces, integrations) and data architecture (conceptual ERDs, data flows), using UML component and deployment diagrams where needed. Learners build an application landscape map and a conceptual data model.

Cover the infrastructure domain (servers, networks, cloud/on-prem) and learn ArchiMate to model cross-domain blueprints across business, application, and technology layers. Learners build a layered ArchiMate model with stakeholder-specific viewpoints.

EA Repository & Documentation Learn to maintain an EA repository

Integrate all skills in a realistic end-to-end assignment: document a full current-state architecture (all four domains), including BPMN process models, ArchiMate blueprints, and a maintained repository package — delivered as a final presentation.
